Wrestling Career – A Lifetime of Pro Wrestling
How was the Pro Wrestling Fire lit? It started with MMA and a love of martial arts.
Angel is a lifelong martial artist who began pro-wrestling in 1996 as ‘Riptide’ after returning from No-Holds-Bar fighting at Queendom Highest Wars in Japan. Angel was trained by Bart Vale for the Shootfighting style of MMA and went through the Fujiwara Gumi.
Once back home in Florida, she began training under Liz Chase for pro wrestling. She debuted versus Chyna at Biketoberfest in Daytona Beach, Florida at the Iron Horse Saloon.

PGWA & the Indies
She was awarded by the PGWA as Rookie of the Year, went on to become Sunshine Wrestling, PGWA, Hot TV Wrestling, Ultimate Wrestling, and Florida Championship Wrestling Women’s Champion. She wrestled Luna Vachon, Liz Chase, and Lita often during that time.
She also began wrestling men and hardcore style matches during this time while continuing to fight MMA and compete in bodybuilding. She competed in the TransAtlantic Championships for TV in UK under NWA-UK versus Katarina Leigh Waters (aka Winter WWE).
Also during this time, Angel fought a mixed martial arts match for the hybrid MMA company Pancraseat the Bronco Bowl in Dallas, Texas and again competing in the South Florida Bodybuilding Championships receiving second place as a heavyweight.

Extreme Championship Wrestling
Angel then went on to become an ECW original as “the Prodigette” after submitting tape of intergender matches done in the extreme hardcore style thanks to opportunities to wrestle for Teddy Long’s Atlanta-based federation where she was the hardcore champion. Angel made her ECW debut as part of the “Side show freaks” with Simon Diamond and Johnny Swinger in the Tag Team Tournament. Angel was the supposed younger sister of Tom Marquez “The Prodigy” and was quite involved with multiple matches to try and help her Teams win their matches as well as participating as a tag partner in matches. It was a great build up to wrestling Jazz. After ECW was sold, Angel was in a horrible car accident that took a year to recover from before she was ready to get back in the ring.
More Indies & College
After recovering from paralysis due to the car accident, Angel relocated to New Jersey. During that time, she wrestled for Women’s Extreme Wrestling, the Dangerous Women of Wrestling, Wresting Superstars Uncensored as the Italian-Jersey character ‘The FBI’ Angel Orsini continuing to pioneer the Hardcore style wrestling matches. She became a Hardcore Specialist having multiple Flaming Tables, TLC, and Steel Cage matches for Philadelphia TV. She took the opportunity to travel throughout Europe wrestling for EuroStars, WXW, and Dutch FCW where she also wrestled in the light heavyweight Men’s division and won the championship title. But it was time to head back to the US and choose a major for college.

Angel has wrestled many exceptional women such as: Mickie James, Molly Holly, Nyla Rose, Awesome Kong, Serena Deeb, Thea Trinidad (Queen Zelina WWE), ODB, Angelina Love, Velvet Sky, Kimber Lee, AJ Lee, Jessica Havok, and Mia Yim.
